Terms of Service

ATEE Technologies Inc. | rideatee.com
Effective Date: May 2026 | Last Updated: July 3, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the ATEE Platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are

ATEE Technologies Inc. ("ATEE," "we," "us") operates the ATEE mobile application and rideatee.com (together, the "Platform"), connecting Customers with independent restaurants and grocery vendors for delivery, independent delivery Drivers, and — where enabled in your area — independent rideshare Drivers. ATEE is a Windsor, Ontario company, registered at 401 Sunset Ave, Windsor, Ontario N9B 3P4, reachable at contact@rideatee.com. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What ATEE Does

ATEE is a technology platform. We connect Customers with independent restaurants and grocery stores ("Vendors") and independent delivery Drivers so you can order food and groceries for delivery. In select areas, ATEE also connects Customers with independent rideshare Drivers. ATEE does not prepare food, does not own the vehicles used for delivery or rides, and does not employ Vendors or Drivers. Vendors are responsible for the food and goods they sell. Drivers are independent contractors responsible for their own conduct.

3. Account Creation

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account, or the minimum age required by applicable law. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. You may not create more than one account or share your account with anyone else.

4. Ordering Food and Groceries

When you place a food or grocery order, you're entering a contract of sale with the Vendor, and a separate arrangement with ATEE to facilitate the order and delivery. Menu items, prices, and delivery time estimates are set by the Vendor and are estimates only. If your order is incorrect, missing items, significantly delayed, or unsafe, you can request a refund or credit through the app's support feature. We review these in good faith and take into account information from you, the Vendor, and the Driver.

5. Rideshare

Where ATEE's rideshare feature is enabled in your area, you can request a ride through the app. As it stands today, you and the Driver agree on the fare directly, and payment happens directly between you and the Driver (cash or e-transfer) — ATEE isn't part of that payment. If we move to in-app ride payment in the future, we'll update this section and notify you before turning it on in your area. ATEE connects you with independent Drivers. We don't provide transportation ourselves and aren't a party to the transportation arrangement between you and the Driver.

6. Payments

You need a valid payment method to place a food or grocery order. By ordering, you authorize ATEE and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge that payment method for your order, applicable fees, and any tip. We don't store your full card number — Stripe handles that securely. You can cancel a food or grocery order before the Vendor starts preparing it for a full refund. Orders cancelled after preparation has started may not be fully refundable.

7. Ratings and Reviews

You may rate and review Vendors and Drivers after an order or ride. Reviews must be honest and can't be defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or violate anyone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

8. Rules Everyone Follows

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy and Platform Rules, both linked below. In short: no fraud, no fake orders, no harassment, no chargeback abuse, and no misuse of the Platform.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or engage in fraud or abusive behaviour toward Vendors or Drivers. You can close your account any time in Settings or by contacting us. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why your account was restricted, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or break the law.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, ATEE's liability to you under these Terms is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past three months, or CAD $100. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, except where the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) says we can't limit that. Vendors are responsible for their own food and goods; Drivers are independent contractors responsible for their own conduct.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Ontario courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) to bring a claim elsewhere.

12. Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll notify you in the app and, where required, ask you to review and re-accept before you can keep using ATEE. Version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
