This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the ATEE Platform, including Customers, Drivers, Vendors, and visitors to rideatee.com. By using ATEE, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

1. Introduction

ATEE Technologies Inc. ("ATEE," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This Privacy Policy covers the ATEE mobile app, rideatee.com, and our vendor and admin dashboards.

2. Information We Collect

• Identity information: your name and, for Drivers, government-issued ID and licence details used for verification.
• Contact information: email and phone number.
• Location information: your GPS location when you use the app to place an order, deliver an order, or request/provide a ride. For Drivers, location may be collected in the background during an active delivery shift for dispatch, navigation, and safety purposes — see our Location Information page for details.
• Device information: device type, operating system, and app version, collected via Expo for app performance and crash reporting.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor. We don't store your full card number on our own servers.
• Order and account data: stored in our database (Supabase), including order history, addresses, and messages sent through in-app chat.
• Analytics data: aggregated usage data via Google Analytics, as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and process orders or rides; to process payments and, for Vendors and Drivers, payouts; to verify Driver and Vendor eligibility; to provide customer support and respond to your questions; to detect and prevent fraud; to improve the app; to meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information with the service providers that power the Platform: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and backend hosting), Google Maps (location, routing, and address autocomplete), Expo (app infrastructure and crash reporting), and Google Analytics (website analytics). Each is contractually limited to using your information only to provide their service to us. We share limited order details between Customers, Vendors, and Drivers as needed to complete an order — for example, a Driver sees the delivery address and your first name, not your full contact details. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect someone's safety. We don't sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes above, including tax and accounting record-keeping requirements, which can mean up to seven years for transaction records.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and PCI-DSS-aligned payment practices through Stripe. No system is completely secure — if we become aware of a breach that poses real risk of harm, we'll notify affected users and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for certain uses (subject to legal or contractual limits). Contact us at contact@rideatee.com to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without appropriate consent.
